Granulated orange peel (orange zest) provides a bright, orange flavor when you don’t have fresh oranges. Use it in baked goods or beverages.
The flavor is more intense than fresh, use one-third (1/3) the amount of fresh zest.
1 Tablespoon fresh Orange Peel = 1/3 Tablespoon or 1 Teaspoon for granulated orange peel
To reconstitute, mix 1 part granulated orange peel with 3 parts warm water. Let sit for about 30 minutes. Drain and use.
