I don’t know about you but I love a good BBQ! Here at North Market Spices, we have several options for you to spice up your next BBQ.
Hot and Mild Southern BBQ Rubs: These two rubs have a variety of spices using paprika as the base with brown sugar, granulated sugar, cumin, chili powders of various kinds, garlic, ground black pepper, kosher salt and garlic.
Smoke, Spice & Everything Nice: The inspiration came from our Applewood Smoked Sea Salt. The goal was to let everyone experience extraordinarily smokey meat without necessarily smoking the meat. So, all of our smoked ingredients went into this mix with the same ratios as the Mild and Hot BBQ rubs. So in went the Applewood Smoked Sea Salt in place of kosher salt. Smoked Spanish Paprika as the base as opposed to the Peruvian Paprika. Ancho Chili Powder instead of Dark Chili Powder. Finally, Guajillo Chili Powder and not cayenne (this put the heat level in between the Hot and the Mild).
Nathan’s Original – Happy Endings: Happy Endings is a Hoison cilantro and toasted coriander seed sea salt. Deep rich oriental flavors lightened up with the citrus aspects of cilantro and its seed. Slow roasted pork ribs, bacon wrapped scallops or a good old fashioned baked sweet potato seek the kind touch of this master craft. Use this as a fun BBQ twist.
Nathan’s Original – Sun Ripened Leather: A smoked espresso bean kola nut and clove sea salt. Beech wood smoked espresso bean, kola nut and clove entwined sea salt. Espresso bean is chambered with the sweet and seductive blanket of beech wood giving it a perfume that no man can resist. Richness gets harvested with the intent and clear danger of clove and forced them into submission with kola nut and sea salt. Great wild game enhancer. Use this to finish your BBQ.
